A quick reminder to complete a task or follow up with someone. This could be a digital reminder that pops up on your mobile device, an “all-day event” on your digital calendar, or a note on your paper calendar.

If using an “all-day event” on your digital calendar,  be sure to use your calendar layers to keep it separate from your date and time-specific tasks. Using a separate color for each calendar layer can be very helpful as well.  In Gmail, you can create an entirely new "Trigger" Calendar to keep all of these reminders in.  You can also assign it a color so it is highlighted. 

If using another Calendar, I would suggest making it an "All Day" task so it appears at the top of all other appointments that day.
