Command Central
A Command Central (or Command Center) is a seamless system that holds your ideas, papers, thoughts, goals, tasks, and all your “stuff” in a way that works with your brain. You never have to think about those items until it is time to work on a specific task. At that point, you can find anything you need within 30 seconds.
The Command Central includes the space in your home, office, or both where you have your inbox, your files, and any folders that support the projects you are working on. This could include digital tools as well.

The entire STEP program is designed to help bring order to all that comes at us in life. If we can teach you how to manage and handle the papers, the tasks, the routines, and the daily churn of living, we are helping reduce stress, free up time, and open creativity so that you can use this energy to bless your family. When we have a general order in our lives, we have more opportunities to love, serve, work, and grow together!
My personal experience with this has been life-changing. As a wife and mother, I realize that just the demands of taking care of the basics can drain and exhaust me. This means I am not as creative or patient when I am overwhelmed. In the years that I have implemented this program, I am amazed at how much energy is freed up. When we have routines in place, when we maintain clutter-free areas and generally know where things are, we can teach our families how to bring peace of mind while keeping order.
Not a day goes by I am not implementing and blessed by principles this program has taught me. From moving projects forward, to maintaining the day-to-day- this has helped me understand that when we put systems in place, we don’t have to reinvent the wheel each week in order to ‘just get by.’
